Slide 1The Multi Increment Sampling Tool was designed to allow users to quickly and effortlessly collect increments in a variety of soil types consistent with current US EPA Method 8330B guidance. Typically 30 to 100 individual soil increments are collected per sample design. Thanks to the MIS tool’s design, users do not have to clean between increments and the stainless steel construction prevents rusting. The MIS was developed to reduce issues with discrete sampling and composite sampling with limited increments.

The Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC) SOIL STICKTM equips field specialists with unsurpassed flexibility through full “field-ready” deployment and multiple, easy-to-change soil coring bores in a convenient carrying case.

The SOIL STICK is solidly constructed of Stainless Steel to support high production incremental sampling field studies. Its reinforced fabrication is specifically designed to handle the demands of the environmental industry.

Typically, 30 to 100 individual soil increments are collected per sample design. Each increment must be the same depth and volume. The EVC SOIL STICK allows users to quickly and effortlessly collect increments in a variety of soil types consistent with current U.S. EPA Method 8330B guidance.

The SOIL STICK requires no cleaning between increments and the stainless steel construction prevents rusting. The tight fitting Teflon plunger cores minimize issues with small pebbles and if worn, can easily be replaced.

There are many benefits to using the SOIL STICK for site characterization:

  • Cost reduction of 189% with results that are more precise and accurate
  • Mean concentration closer to the perceived actual mean
  • Smaller standard deviation among replicates with a high degree of sampling reproducibility.
  • Reduced human and analytical error due to reduced number of samples Reduced time performing field work
  • Reduced analytical cost because fewer samples are needed to achieve reliable results.
