A signature management coating for tires and rubber materials

TALON® Tire Coating, jointly developed by Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC) and Luna Labs, LLC, is a signature management coating system specific to rubber components. This coating is a direct complement to TALON® CARC-E, to aid in full camouflage of the entire ground vehicle asset, both visually and thermally.

TALON® Tire Coating is a flexible coating with strong adhesion to rubber materials delivering visual and thermal camouflage with extreme durability and protection.

Ozone resistance and on-road vehicle testing showed the TALON® Tire Coating provided increased protection and wearability to the tire.

Status

  • TRL 7, with extensive testing completed on coating physical properties, rubber degradation, material compatibility and on-vehicle testing

  • Military specification in process for coating qualification

  • On-vehicle track and off-road testing conducted independently by several Department of War entities
