Transitioning New Technologies

From Innovation to Impact:
How EVC Transitions Technology to the Industrial Base

Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC) facilitates the transition of technologies from non-manufacturing, research-focused organizations to the industrial base. EVC enables our customers and partners to stay focused on their core business while monetizing new technologies.

Technology Transition & Commercialization

EVC uses a Lean Transition methodology to evaluate, monetize, and transfer advanced technologies designed and created by others to the marketplace. Our approach reduces the risks associated with product development, scale-up, and commercialization through three core phases:

  • Systematic Evaluation: Thoroughly evaluating emerging technology and target markets to ensure
    commercial viability.
  • Monetize Technology & IP: Securing value and creating structured pathways to license or manufacture
    proprietary intellectual property.
  • Commercialize: Developing and executing go-to-market strategies to bring products successfully to market.

Carriage, Stream, Tow, and Recovery System (CSTRS)

Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC),EVC’s affiliate, developed and designed CSTRS to solve a critical U.S. Navy challenge: transitioning airborne mine countermeasure missions to a smaller (H-60) helicopter.

EVC built on CTC’s innovative solution by developing, producing, and transitioning the technology to become the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Our team is now responsible for all CSTRS equipment manufacturing, testing, and depot-level sustainment for the U.S. Navy.

Specialized Coatings

CTC, EVC, and the U.S. Army jointly developed a breakthrough chemical coating system that provides improved warfighter survivability in increasingly contested, lethal, and complex environments. As part of this overall effort, CTC developed custom materials and a novel manufacturing process, significantly reducing the cost to manufacture the materials.

EVC worked with CTC to transition both the custom materials and the coatings from lab scale to production while executing the strategy to prepare the market for a new product introduction. EVC developed, produced, and implemented this proprietary specialty coating for numerous military applications. It is currently being fielded by several military entities.

H-60 Bridge Tool Deluxe Kit

Building on CTC’s initial development, EVC enhanced and commercialized the H-60 Bridge Tool Deluxe Kit. This purpose-built kit streamlines the safe removal and installation of H-60 Bridge components, significantly reducing maintenance time while minimizing or eliminating maintenance-induced damage. These kits are currently in use across the Navy, Army, and Coast Guard.
