CARC-L Coating

The new and improved, U.S. Army-approved, chemical agent resistant coating system

CARC-L (Low Solar Absorbing CARC) is a new and improved CARC topcoat system recently added to the military specification for CARC coatings by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL). ARL has granted Enterprise Ventures Corporation’s CARC-L conditional qualification approval under the MIL-DTL-64159 specification. (Outdoor weathering needed)

EVC has a long history of developing specialty coatings for the Department of Defense. CARC-L is the most recently approved material.

Benefits of LSA Coatings:
  • Extreme durability exceeding current CARC topcoats
  • Reduces solar loading on the system, reducing the temperature inside of the vehicle or shelter
  • Low VOC and 100% HAP Free
  • Improved solar degradation resistant properties saving repair costs and out of service time
  • Direct drop-in replacement for legacy MIL-DTL-64159 CARC; no additional facility cost to use
